# Migration Youth and Children Platform (MYCP)

> MYCP is the space for and by young people to impact the highest levels of international migration policymaking. Operating within the UN Major Group for Children and Youth, MYCP is the official platform through which young migrants, children and youth-led organisations engage global migration governance — including the Global Compact for Migration (GCM) and the Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD).

MYCP works across four areas: Policy & Advocacy, Capacity Building, Youth Action, and Knowledge. Its reach spans 272 organisations in 75 countries, 5 Migration Youth Forums, 25+ regional events, and 105,000+ young migrants engaged.

Governance: a Secretariat led by a Global Coordinator; an International Council of five elected regional representatives; a Constituency of young migrants, youth and youth-led organisations; a Coordination Team of three units — #THINK (research), #ENGAGE (capacity building) and #DELIVER (advocacy and campaigns); and a Board of Directors providing legal and financial oversight.
