Climate change is reshaping where people work, what work is available, and who gets left out of the transition. Young migrants sit at the centre of this and they (we) are almost never in the room where the policies are written.

This is your room.

MYCP's Policy Lab brings together young people from around the world with high-level policymakers, UN experts, a World Bank specialist, a doctor, and a university lecturer for two days of learning, debate, and action. You will leave with a policy brief that goes straight into MYCP's advocacy for COP31.

What you'll do

Work in teams to produce a policy brief on climate-labour policy and migrant youth inclusion. The winning brief will be published on MYCP's website and used in our COP31 advocacy.

Who this is for

Young people on the move from anywhere in the world, especially those with lived experience of climate migration. No policy background required. Curiosity and commitment are enough.

— Expert insights on the climate–labour–migration nexus from international organisations, activists, and practitioners
— Perspectives across health, gender, and education from UN Women, World Bank and ILO specialists
— A certificate of participation for your CV
— A network of young people driving migration policy from the inside
