Youth on the Move
The Youth on the Move Capacity-Building Sessions were designed to strengthen young people’s knowledge and awareness of migration-related topics, policies, and governance processes, while also equipping them with practical skills to support their professional growth and leadership development.
Capacity Building
At the core of the sessions was a peer-to-peer learning approach, showcasing youth leadership, expertise, and lived experience. Participants learn directly from other young people; many with migration and/or displacement backgrounds, who are actively shaping and contributing to youth-led initiatives at local, national, and international levels.
Between March and December 2025, we hosted six Capacity-Building Sessions aimed at equipping young advocates with hands-on tools and concrete insights in the fields of migration and displacement. The sessions placed a strong emphasis on youth-led advocacy, with the majority of speakers being under the age of 35 and all bringing direct experience in supporting or leading youth-driven work.
